- TRUCK AND PLANT DIVISION — General Manager — Kobus Cronje
This division specializes in heavy-duty transmissions, clutches, propshafts and axles
and is backed by a 12 month warranty. Kobus Cronje heads up this division along
with Hannes Giessing. Hannes, who is a fully qualified motor mechanic joined us in
1996 having worked in Transport and transmission companies on the Reef and
therefore knows just how critical down time is in this field.
Amongst others, our technicians are experienced in the following:
Astas; Z.F; Fuller Eaton; Rockwell; Allison Spicer; HL5; HL4; HL7; and HD6.
All heavy duty automatic transmissions are dyna tested for 24 hours prior to delivery.
Transmission Centre currently has many transport and trucking companies as
satisfied customers as we have experience in the following:
M.A.N.; Mercedes Benz; International; MACK; Volvo; Scania; Nissan; Toyota; Ford;
OSHKOSH and SAMAG.
Due to the enormous growth in our truck and plant division Transmission Centre are
currently negotiating to buy or build new premises for our Truck Division. Further

- FERGUSONS ENG — Ivan Ferguson
The Engineering Shop, owned by Ivan Ferguson, is a subsidiary of ours, consists of
2 lathes, milling machine and ancillary equipment. The engineering shop is capable
of doing all general engineering and fabrication.
